This weekend we got to take advantage of a wonderful yearly event put on by the SPCA of Texas. It’s called Strut Your Mutt, a 3k and 5k walk alongside the Margaret Hunt Hill bridge in Dallas. Event proceeds help save strays and promote adoptions at local SPCA shelters. The SPCA also works tirelessly to end animal cruelty in North Texas, and find some beautiful animals their forever homes! We decided to load up Alvin and Hazel and truck over to Dallas for a nice Spring walk! Because Hazel and Alvin love to walk, but even more they love attention! Although Zeus has gone with use other years, this time he volunteered to hold down the fort. Zeus gets a little overwhelmed by crowds but got a nice peanut butter Kong to keep him occupied. Plus, aunt came and my parents who brought my younger brother, and their favorite son- Topper!… He’s a mini Schnauzer. I took a camera, and did one of the few things I have a talent for- taking pictures of random dogs! We hope you enjoy! And if your near Dallas next May think about coming out and strutting your mutts as well!
